Prerequisites

Hey Developer!

Before you start learning React Native, you should have some basic understanding of the following:

• JavaScript fundamentals — variables, functions, arrays, objects, and ES6+ features. See the Basics of JavaScript section.
• React basics — components, props, state, and hooks, since React Native builds on React. See the Basics of React section.

caution

Don't spend too much time on learning these things, just basics would work for now. Once you know basics of these things, then dive into learning React Native. The sooner you start learning React Native, the better (of course after grasping the basics of these things).
